James Plastering & Rendering
A lot of plastering starts with boarding. We fix plasterboard to walls and ceilings, dry line rooms, and board and finish new stud partition walls in homes, extensions and commercial spaces such as offices.
Stud partitions
Splitting a room, forming a new doorway or creating an office or storage space all start with a stud wall. Once the frame is up, we board both sides, tape and scrim the joints, and skim it so the new wall matches the rest of the room.
Dry lining
Dry lining is a practical way to get a straight surface on uneven or tired walls. Boards are fixed, the joints are scrimmed and the whole wall is skimmed to a smooth finish.
Commercial work
We've boarded and finished partition walls in offices, keeping the area protected and tidy while we work. Domestic, new builds and commercial: we cover all three, from a single partition to a full fit-out of walls and ceilings.
