Burnham-on-Sea and Highbridge sit a few miles north of Bridgwater on the Somerset coast, and we cover both towns and the villages between them. Right on the Bristol Channel, houses here take more wind, rain and salt air than most, so the condition of the outside walls matters.
Render on the coast
Cracked or blown render lets water in, and on an exposed wall that soon shows. We take back failing areas, make the wall sound and apply a fresh render system: through-coloured silicone render, spray cork or traditional sand and cement, finished neatly at windows, beads and the base of the wall. The weather matters for rendering too, so we plan external work around suitable conditions rather than rushing it.
Bungalows, terraces and newer homes
The area has plenty of bungalows and post-war houses alongside older terraces and newer estates, and all of them benefit from a well-applied render.
Plastering too
Inside, we re-skim walls, plaster ceilings, and board and skim extensions and partitions. Quotes are free.
