James Plastering & Rendering
Taunton is a short run down the M5 from our base in Bridgwater, and it sits well inside the Somerset area we cover. As the county town it has a wide spread of property: period terraces and townhouses near the centre, inter-war and post-war semis, and large modern developments on the outskirts.
Rendering in Taunton
Plenty of older homes have render or pebbledash that has cracked, blown or simply faded. We take back failing areas, apply a sound scratch coat and finish in through-coloured silicone render, spray cork or sand and cement. Rear extensions on terraced houses need particular care: access is tight and the new render has to tie in neatly with what's already there.
Plastering and ceilings
Inside, we re-skim walls and ceilings, replaster where old plaster has failed, and board and skim extensions and partitions for homeowners, builders and commercial clients.
